Most tours will include a session on each of the following: Free Range Chickens, Pastured Berkshire Pigs (Heritage Breed), Brahman & Nguni Cross Cattle, Permaculture Food Forest & Gardens, or Composting & Worm Farms.
They are often asked if the farm tours are suitable for children. Their response is an emphatic YES! In fact the Freckle Farm Tour has been carefully designed with children in mind, because they strongly believe that all kids need to see where real food comes from. Freckle Farm is also a place for people to connect with their food ? to understand the difference between what they produce and what is more commonly found on the supermarket shelves.
